PM notification?

I do not see any place, on the forum homepage, where a 'you have a PM' shows up?

I just went into my mail box to use an old PM to mail back to a member and there was an unopened PM from Jan 16. No where did I see evidence on the main menu page.

The word Notifications will have a 1 next to it ......... you should get a pop up box and I have mine set to also send me an email

OK Bob, I now see the blue bar at the top right of the main menu page. It's just another one of those pesky changes for change sake. I know there has been a lot of flak during the change but when formats change for no appreciable gain, it takes a lot of unnecessary energy to adapt to them!!

Yes, getting use to the changes is similar to re-arranging things and getting used to them again.

Even the Mod's and all the great daily user's still encounter brain cramps but, they do not hurt as much as they first did.

Yes, getting use to the changes is similar to re-arranging things and getting used to them again.

Even the Mod's and all the great daily user's still encounter brain cramps but, they do not hurt as much as they first did.

Not much different from my wife going out and re-arranging the workbench in the garage. There is nothing functional about it, there is nothing particularly aesthetic about it but it causes you to go apoplectic!

My wife says my bench is a mess. I say I've got everything exactly like I want it...........Then she "organizes" it while I sleep...

I sent a guy a PM. Bet he doesn't realize he has one...

As far as the garage, my wife just wants enough room on "her" side to get in. Hasn't happened yet....

Doesn't she know that when it comes to the garage there is no such thing as 'her' side? Just a fact of life. There is a 'her' side of the bed, a her side of the closet, a her side of the bathroom counter but just no such thing 'her' side of the garage.

Ya, she's been trying to get "her side" for a couple of years now.......
