plugs for a 1985 black max xr2 150 hp

would like to know which plug to use the ngk buhw or ngk bu8h thanks for any help in this area

BU8H. BUHW where only used from 1973-1977

Either one. hw is "supposedly" for slightly higher than normal rpm motor........

I hope it's wrong, I know of an '83 Mercury 2cycle 3cyl. That had the NGK BU8H's in it.

They were used in tha small block V6's all tha way up ta '99. Changed in 2000 when they went ta all tha 'lectronic stuff (cdm motors).

Spark plug site. They got most of it right but they still "missed" a few things. Like production years for some. Tha hw was used mostly in tha Hi Po motors but are just fine in any of 'em except 'lectronic motors............
