Plug Wires

My 1955 5.5hp johnson had everything under the flywheel replaced back in seotember except for the plug wires. And now when I run my motor at low rpms the top cylinder cuts on and off. Its not untill mid ti high rpms that both cylinders fire consistently. Do I need new plug wires, Where can I get them and how do I install them. Thanks Dan

Does it need them? Tough to tell from the information provided. Certainly a good candidate.

You can get them from your dealer. NAPA probably has some kits available too. Make sure you get marine plug wires and not automotive; totally different animals.
