I have a 3.0 LX Mercruiser, 1995. This is a GM inline 4 cyl. Any harm in using good quality, non-marine, plug wires and dist. cap and rotor? Thanks for the input.
Mike,<br />I too had same question for my GM V8. I talked to my mechanic at the marina and he said it was ok to use top quality wires and plugs that were non marine. I shopped around and as for the distributor and rotor I couldn't find anything but marine grade that would match. The set ups and vents were all different when I tried to get just a 305 stock cap.<br /><br />I did save a few dollars by geting the rotor and cap an independant autoparts retailer. Price around and see how you make out.<br /><br />Jason
