I just got a 94 Gamefisher 15hp, model 225 581 496, I want to change the plugs. The parts house gave me ngk bp7hs plugs, but didnt know the gap. any ideas. Also I had the impeller replaced, would the lower gear oil have been changed to do the job.

any help would be great

The plugs are gapped to .030
No,the oil in the lower unit would not have to be changed when replacing the impellar.
Try and purchase an owners manual off ebay, your motor is a rebadged Force outboard.

Twice,,, TWICE!!! Looks like you got a hold of a good one there.

No special gear lube needed, just pick up some "lower unit gear lube", I use Lubrimatic semi-synthetic. Mercury High Performance is very good.

Wait for a set of factory (Force) manuals to come up on Ebay. I got my set for $25.

After buying an outboard I always change the impellar, put new plugs in,change the gear oil, and run seafoam in the gas to clean out the fuel system. Get an owners manual and parts manual off ebay for a Force 15 HP outboard.

thanks for the info, so the manuals would say Force on them rather than Gamefisher??
