Hi, I recently bought a 1965 Alumacraft F7, with a 15 hp evinrude electric start motor. This is an awesome boat, but I need a threaded plug for it. A standard threaded plug won't fit it. Any ideas on where I can find a replacement plug for a boat this old,
Thanks

Can't imagine it being anything other then a standard IPT fitting, they are available just about any hardware store or wall mart. If all else fails you could change out the complete garboard drain assy. to something more modern. I'm wondering exactly what thread you have there now?

I tried a plastic, and a brass plug. Neither fit. It appears to be a factory assembly

My old '58, used an odd sized screw in plug, about 1 1/8" I think.
