Plug compatability

guys, will champion J6C plugs perform in my 1969 25 hp sportster? what would be the difference in the J4C as compared to the J6C plugs? I do a lot of crabbing and I run traps so there is quite a bit of low speed inbetween pulling the traps but I also like to run wot to and from my spots.

The J6C plug is just one step higher in the heat range and may provide improved performance.

THe J4C is the original recommended plug with the J6C being the alternative recommended plug, both gaps set to .030 .

For a 150 GT 1985 I got the champion ul77v. There's no arm at the bottom, it's surface gap. Good or bad? The other I have ordered is the ngk buhxw-1... Which is best or both wrong?

Also, u think it's ok to make your own plug wires 8mm?

Not sure what the relevance of that is to the OPs question about his 25 hp engine but Champion UL77V or L16V surface gap plugs are the recommended plugs for your 150 hp.
NGK BUHXW-1 are the NGK equivalent of UL77V

of course!! just make sure to use metallic core wire....do not use automotive wire.
