Pleasure Craft License...

Im going to register my boat for a pleasure craft license but the previous owner didnt have it registered so i have to get a notary, lawyer, to sign a declaration for me. I need to know my registered tonnage, anyway to get that without actually weighing it? And is the License number the number made out of stickers on the front of the boat or is that the hull id number. WHich one is the number on the upper left corner of the transom? Ty

upper left on the transom is the hull id number. the decal on the bow is the registration number, like the tag on the car.

You could ask the state what their requirements are.
