From this season's run along the Hudson River from the Albany dam to the Tappan Zee bridge in NYC. They would be fun for us to see.
I'm already seeing many boats out there on these early chilly mornings on my drive to work in Albany along the Hudson.
This is dedication . . . or they just like real cool beer early in the morn :D
I know each year there is a contest with $1000,000 for the biggest striper caught.
Each year, it's always quite a site for me too see once the temp is above 60, I'm out there seeing 100's and 100's of small crafts out there trying their luck. I'm more of a bass type of sport fisherman.
But Striper catches can be huge, so post some of your pics if you got um.
Thx

Its day 2 of a 3 day Striper tournament for us. First place last year was almost $60k.

The guy in the next slip came in with a 54", #56.4 fish but is not in the tournament.

The leader is currently #48.7. Need #44 plus to stay in the game tomarrow

My boss went this past week and landed a few nice ones. I don't have the pictures but I have seen them.

Here is a picture of one of my team mates with one that barely made the minimum weigh-in length of 36". The fish weighed in at #25.7

Not a striper, but fresh outta the Hudson. My Daughter and her fishing buddy pulled this one out a few days ago!
