Please HELP !!!!!

I have a 1983 Evinrude 50 hp. The motor idle good, the problem is that when I give it gas there is always a point where it want to shut off. It acts just like its not getting gas, But it is I have checked that out. after I get it past the point where it want to shut off it runs great. Could anyone please help !!!!

I'd check the timer base and make sure it's not sticking at some point....Is this a remote setup or tiller?

Or....you could be getting to much gas and at that hesitation point, the air is catching up to the gas flow. When were the carbs last overhauled?

Well, the motor is on a 83' Cimmaron tir hull boat. It away shuts off before It get on a plan.

proper carb cleaning? with a rebuild kit, and a linc n sinc.
