Please help,still stumped on suzuki df250

Im still stumped on the problem with this motor. Ok i blew engine and rebuilt it completly,new bearings,rings,rods,pistons,timing chains,etc,did sea trial and seated the rings everything checked out perfect,another day i drove it and magnets fell out of flywheel so I had to replace stator and flywheel. It cranked and ran for two mins and died,now all it will do is crank and die instantly leaving the plugs fludded so I replaced the computer,the high and low pressure pumps,filters and every thing else I could think of and still not running and im not getting any codes. Can anyone please steer me in the right direction!!

well,I found the problem,today I tore the engine down and there were three broken valve springs which caused the tappets to fall out. There was no damage to the pistons or anything else,so I will have to replace the springs,tappets,guides,and lap the valves,crossing my fingers that I will have no more bad luck!!!!!

This is a lesson learned. With the high cost of marine parts, there's no substitute for a proper diagnosis of the problem. You just cannot throw good money after bad. Sometimes an investment in an hour of a quality marine mechanic will save you great amounts of $.

Sounds as if you had a degreeing/timing problem with the camshaft. Some engines will destroy themselves.

yes bamaman, well said,I was trying to save another 1500 dollars and cheat on the valve train and it came back and bit me on the rearend,so lesson learned and this evening it seems that all is well it is now running great,but it has been a big headache for me because I live on an island and i have to take the engine on and off at the dock which makes it 10 times more difficult especially when this is the third time in 2 weeks. thanks bodogg.
