Please help.. need year on Mariner motor?

Hello everyone,<br />I need to do some work on a motor but need to know the year. I could not find any info on the Mercs and Mariners to decode the serial numbers.<br />It a Marriner and the serial number is OC136657.I think it is a 90hp?? Can canone confirm the HP and Year on this? Thanks as always for the help. Dave in Florida.

From Marinshopen, the serial # fits 1989. Hp with that range of serial # are <br />40 4 cyl, <br />75 , <br />90 3 cyl, <br />100 4 cyl,<br />115 4 cyl.
