I have an '84 (I believe) Honda 7.5 hp, 4 stroke outboard, model # BF75S. It won't start (has fuel and spark altho spark is not as strong as I'd like, no big fat blue spark) and I'm not sure if it's ignition box related or perhaps a bad ground. It does have a timing belt on it and I think the timing may also be off but I do not know where the alignment marks are supposed to line up. Does anyone know where I can find the alignment marks online? I have a dot on the cam sprocket that I've lined up with what looks like another dot on the head but when I spin the motor over by hand, I'm getting fuel dumping out of the spark plug hole (plug removed from head). I'm sure it's out of time but I've no way to verify timing mark location. Does this motor use "points" type ignition or electronic (c.d.i. box)? Please if anyone can help me with links, information or anything at all, I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks
Chris
