Hi I'm new to the forum I just bought a 1996 bayliner jazz jet boat and the motor locked up so the guy trashed it so now I have no engine. I have a inboard outboard motor and would love to put in the jet but can it be or has anybody done it. Please help me I have no idea how to go about doing this thanks . Mike

trashing those engines is the last thing you want to do.

Try to find a Force 120 outboard powerhead but then, you'll have to find a Sportjet 120 crankshaft to fit inside it or you won't be able to attach it to the jetpump.

if you had a 120HP you should have kept the crankshaft AT LEAST.

if it's the 90HP, then you'll also have to try to find a 120HP gear set for the jet pump, or be careful not to rev your engine more than 5400RPM.

no.

sportjet units are not like PWC units. You must stick with the same engine.

only a Force 90/120HP will fit. not even the sportjet 175 will bolt to this jetpump.
