Please help ID powerhead-Black Max 200

I was told these are '87 motors. The tags on the transom mounts read 6514039 and 6514039. Now the tricky part, the powerheads are different so one's (or both) been changed. One has one piece cylinder heads, kinda softly rounded; the other has removable water jacket plates on the heads and more squarish looking. The one piece head motor has a square 4 bolt fuel pump, the other is a longer 5 bolt pump. There are a few other differences, but this should be enough for you pros to ID.

Tha 2 piece head motor is not '87 unless they used tha older heads for some reason. Is tha head bolt pattern tha same on both motors? Look real close. They might be farther in (closer to tha clyinder).

Your serial number goes to a 1984 MERCURY 2.4L 200 EXLPTO (V-6)

The head bolts look to have the same spacing. There are other little things, like the fuel pumps, that tell me it's a different block, not just different heads. The one with the square 4 bolt fuel pump has the protrusion where the 5th bolt would go, but it's not drilled so it isn't just a different pump. There are a few other little things like that I've found. The operation stuff; linkages, ignition stuff, oil injection...all looks to be the same between the two.

Bumping back up in hopes. Thanks boat tech, you're right on the SN being '84. The boat had an old survey and they called them '87s, shows how good that guy was!
