Since I purchased this boat, all i have heard is sell it-sell, due to the OMC brand, is this the brand of the engine or just the outdrive? As I like this boat, bought to take my son fishing, its in good shape. When I bought this boat, the engine ran great, engine raised and lowered, all i did was change plugs, am also looking for a pump to draw out oil to no avail. The problem i am having is now I can't get the engine to go down, it would just click, so I changed both selonoids for up/down, blue wire-up, green-down supposedly, I changed all the battery fittings for both batterys and charged them full, all it does now is click at the solenoids when the switch is engaged left and right, I'm at wits end. As the tight confines of the area restrict following these wires, its difficult to go from here, assuming that the blue/green feed goes to a motor for this function, has a removable on the outdriveAny ideas? Does anyone know any links or if a manual is avail for this engine/boat? Any usefulll info would be greatly appreciated. Also, as I can't even start it with the engine up, I was hoping to change the lower unit oil, at the store they sell lower unit oil and lower unit lube, which one is correct? Is there a way to search this forum for my needs, tried search box just gives me 3.0 info but no OMC. Thank You for your review.
