(not sure if I spelled planing right)
Anyway, on my 17' cajun with my merc 150hp I'm having a lot of trouble getting it to plane. With a bass boat like that is it a hole shot? I mean a floor it and go? Or ease into it. When I romp on it the front end comes up so much I can't see where I'm going. LOL
Plus it buries the motor almost to where it bogs out.
Do I have to trim the motor differently to get it to plane out?

Thanks in advance.

Boat dude, assuming you're propped correctly you may want to play with the trim settings a bit. I also would suggest a hydrofoil. Stingray, Doel Fin, and a host of other outfits make an excellent product that would greatly improve your launch.
