From a '70 4 Hp Johnson one piston (bottom) looks bad, the other is OK
two questions
1)what is possible cause, did not find any thing which could have caused it, rings are fine ect
2) Esitmate how long this was there? engine ran OK, didnt idle real low where you can almost count the revs, but untill I was looking at the carb ect I would never have suspected this.
