Pinion + forward gear

2000 lg v/6 gearcase.Pinion gear is worn causing noise.Forward and reverse gear look new.I know pinion+forward are matched set,my question is if it is ok to not replace the reverse gear? Also are there any reel good aftermarket gears instead of oem

Noise replace them all.You might check GLM and SIERRA.<br /><br />DHP

all gears need to be replaced make sure they are shimmed correctly before installing
