Pin thru transom bracket?

I'd like to trim my motor (Honda 90) a little further in. Can you remove the pin that goes through the transom bracket on a motor with power trim & Tilt. Will this cause any damage?

Hi Perry<br /><br />I do not think it is a good idea, It not only seats against the trim pin, it also contains the reverse lock, and i do not know how your motor will seat without the pin. The motors trust is transferred to boat, mainly through this seat. You can make a plate or something to add between boat and motor changing the angle, or get one of the jackplated changing trim ( $$$ )
