The lower pilot screw on the port side of my 1986 Yamaha ProV-150 keeps vibrating to the close postion. There is a spring on the pilot screw and from time to time it closes to about 1/4 turn-out.
Which should be 1-1/2 + or - 1/4 turn. Is there anything that I can put on the screw to keep it from moving on it's own? I thought about putting some "lock-tite" to stop it.
Just for the record.. This is a 1986 ProV-150 hung on the back of a Skeeter 18' and has never been in a shop for anything, and it runs great. The only thing I do to it, is Spark Plugs and Water Pump every two years.
Fred
