I've got an Alumacraft fishing boat, so the console setup is going to be similar. You can just cut a hole in there and mount it. However, every console is different and what you really need to understand is how big your unit is going to be, what is behind your console, and how much space is back there. Factor in any rain guards that you might install as well. Think about how you will brace the head unit once installed. It will take a beating as you pound across waves.

The best thing to do is to go to your local boat dealer and see how they've installed stereos for other customers. Seeing and touching is much better than a photo.

Good luck.

I have a ProCraft Combo and I cut a hole a the bottom right of the drivers console to mount it... its down at the bottom to the right of the steering wheel. The speakers were already mounted on the right and left about even with the drivers seat and passenger seat. They are pretty easy to hear there while running along at cruising speed. The only downside is that when we are sitting fishing, its hard to hear your fishing buddy in the front seat if you are in the back seat.
