That is too funny, but I don't live far from there and Johnstown is one of our news carriers and I didn't hear any of that. Hmmm, might have to do a little more investigating!

I wonder what they thought would happen, everyone yanks off thier leather and runs to the store to get some black cotton pants.

They are pretty luck that is all that happened to them, now the question is, are they dumb enought o go back?

I love it and although I was a biker for some 20 years never belonged to any gang but rode with many bikers, I find this very funny.

My version of P.E.T.A. = People for the Eating of Tasty Animals

Re: PETA vs. Bikers (try not to laugh!)

I remember one year long ago a guy was deer hunting and a group of PETA folks actaully came in to his hunting stand. Rather then get too upset and laying them out (I call that great gun control too) he decided to get down and take a walk through the woods. They proceeded to follow him and make a lot of noise to scare off any type game. So he decided to give them a little lesson as well. He walked through some very swampy areas and viney areas and made sure to go through every throny area he could think of. He walked up hills and down. He had apporpriate clothes on but they didn't. I'm sure they had many cuts, bruises and painful bodies and such after his walk... Some times you have to play their game and some times they had to play yours.

That's about their speed. Lets go harass a guy with a high powered rifle... Brilliant!

Thats is humourous stuff...had it happened that way. You would think anyone seriously disrupting bikers would normally be in for a pretty heavy beat down on a good day, not just a taping...still a fun story to post.
What is really funny tho' is the website itself. There is some really funny stuff listed on there from ads to stories...very entertaining.
All good

Yeah, I go out kill an animal for it's hide. Leave the rest lay on the ground for the vulture's........at least we use the whole animal!
I know of one dude who won't drive,to much pollution, but someone can pick him up to run errands,in the process he pollutes more as a vehicle has to double up miles getting there and back! It takes all kinds I guess...

Wonder if it will be funny when they are in front of a judge?

That would be quite intresting..assault with excessive duct taping...restriction of free speech..unauthorized use of duct tape in public...Id better calm down with the comment's can you imagine showing your ID for a duct tape purchase....

Re: PETA vs. Bikers (try not to laugh!)

I was thinking more like assault, kidnapping, unlawful detention.... Of course once the criminal charges are finished it's time for a civil case and the real payoff. I'd bet a dollar they can easily identify the assailants. :D

At the lineup-

YES, officer that's him the big hairy bearded tattooed guy wearing that poor cows skin as a jacket and chaps!!

I would recognize him anywhere,

OH wait, maybe its that other big hairy bearded tattooed guy wearing that other poor cows skin as a jacket and chaps?? :D

Kind of figured ... with our rural area, those guys would have been heroes and it would have been all over the news. Besides, our big biker rally (Thunder in the Valley) is the end of summer, I believe, not in December, as implied in the story ... a bit on the colder side for that the beginning of December here ... even for big hairy guys and gals in poor cow skins. LOL!

You may be right but I will be amazed if it doesn't end up in front of one or more judges.

And the charges would be what?
I'm trying to think of a synonym, for "hoax" or "urban legend" or "not true....someone just made this up and posted it on the internet" that might register....but they've pretty much all been used already in this thread. :D

According to my Doubleday Roget's Thesaurus: trick, dupe, swindle, fool, hoodwink, take in, flim-flam, sham, feint. Subterfuge, prank, put-on, spoof, trick, imposture etc.

Hope this helps ...

If God didn't want us to eat animals He wouldn't have made them out of meat.
