Performance modifications

I am interested in pumping up the performance for my Sea Ray 180 br. It is a 2000 model with a 3.0 liter mercruiser. What can be done to up my top end, ski pulling power or overall engine performance? Any comments or suggestions would be helpful.

Well this is a multi-parted question. Speed equals horsepower and prop. You might not have the horsepower but you could change your prop for higher speed but you loose the pulling power for ski pulling. You might have some luck changing to a 4 blade prop or visit a dealer for prop suggestions. Consult your tach and see if you are pulling optimum RPM's for your motor.
