Penta SX-M Input Shaft Seal

Replacing the bellows and found gear oil in u-joint bellows. I've search around and can't find any details about the process. Can the shaft and seal be removed without removing the bearing carrier assembly?

Thanks... What other parts should I replace while it's apart? Any special tools I need? I'm a little intimidated by the crush sleeve and making sure that everything is within spec.

Also, I don't have a press, can this be done with a handheld bearing and race driver kit?
