I added a pee hole today. Water seems hotter than I'd expect maybe like 130 ish. Running in a barrel

edit 113 is the wqter temp on fast idle after about 15 minutes, has a steady stream not really alot of pressure

I finished off someone else's work...or restarted his mistake lol...on a '79 70 hp chrysler nearly 6 months ago,
just added a hose to the diy fitting on the top of the head,

it does pump a good amount of water out,
my son thinks too much,
seems more than other brand motors here

don't know what temp it is on the water,

Running in a barrel, the water is heated by the exhaust gas and the heated water from the water jacket and it's a never ending cycle because the barrel water gets warmer and warmer.

Try it on the lake with cooler water or muffs.

And did you add a restrictor to the end of the hose?

The water coming out hits that temp in a matter of 30 seconds and maintains for however long I let it sit there, goes up and down maybe a degree or 2. Yes it has a plug with a 1/8th hole drilled in it, may be too big of a hole

Sounds like it's working right.

You added a part that gets the flow before it goes through the motor.
So the better the stream the better the flow.
The thermo should be a 110d.
