Pee hole in OMC Cobra outdrive?

Hello to all. When I was winterizing my 1992 OMC Cobra 4.3 I/O, I noticed that water was peeing out a small hole on the right side of the lower outdrive that I never noticed before. I beleive Mercs have them but wasnt sure about OMC's. Is this inded a pee hole or do I have a corrosion problem? Thanks

It is normal. Mine has 2 peeholes on the lower starboard side near where you put the muffs..

Hopefully you did not just winterize it,About time to put it back in the water!8)8)

Nope - winterized last fall but just got around to asking the question. Hell, I thinking about getting her out soon! Springs-a-coming - YEEHAWW!!!

Wish I was down were you are - born and raised in Asheville, NC! Summer comes sooner down there than up here in the Northeast.

I hear ya!
Lake was great today..84 degrees.
To muddy to fish,They are working on the dam and washed a bunch of crud downstream. But the riding around was fun anyway.. Had to test all the work i have done on it over the winter...8)
