Ok, I have read and looked at diagrams on this and I want to be sure I get this right. My main question is related to the inner seal in the flyweheel cover. The inner seal looks like when installed it will partially block the hole for the grease fitting even when driven flush against the lip in the cover. Just doesn't seem right to me. Anyway, here is my take on this and PLEASE corect me on how things go. First, install the inner seal (flat side towards the flywheel) until it seats against the lip in the cover. Install, bearing (put in freezer first?) on PDS, then small snap ring, press or tap shaft with bearing until it seats in flywheel cover. Install large snap ring. Pump grease into fitting to fill/ pack bearing, Rotate shaft to ensure grease is evenly distributed in/on the bearing. Install second large snap ring, pack with grease and install outer seal until it seats against snap ring. Am I close? Or about to ruin all my new parts? Oh and by the way is it better to use the blue marine grease or regular moly grease for this?
Thanks in advance!
