the volvo penta manual was offered as a PDF on their old website. you now have to contact them for anything older than 2000
Ken Cook publishing has always handled the OMC/Johnson/Evinrude manuals from the beginning right up to the end. they have been printed the whole time.
thanks for the replies. The manual I need is for my 2000 90hp johnson.
I checked the link Scott posted, and they do have the manual. it's $100+, and I have to wait for shipping. when I saw the Pdf version for 19.99, my wallet was happy and I can have it right away.
What are you looking for in a manual???? I have dozens of manuals for my equipment and a couple of PDF versions which are a PIA since you have to copy a page and take it with you to the maintenance area whereby a leaflet manual is right there at your side.
I keep my pdf files on my phone or tablet so no need to print and carry pages to the shop. Most of my manuals are paper and live in the shop but I have some Mercury, Yamaha and Volvo on my phone.
I ended up getting the pdf. it was easy, I used PayPal. I agree with those wanting the book the carry around, I have other pdf manuals and some printed.
I'll get by with what I have.
