PCM 351 Ignitoin Problem

I have a 1981 Mastercraft with 351 PCM V8. When the ignition switch is in the ON position, there is power to the coil. When the switch is in the START position, there is not power to the coil. I tried changing the ignition switch but no luck. Any ideas?

Dont know about your setup here. But most engines have a wire that runs from the starter solinoid to the coil for a full 12Volts during cranking. Its a purple/yellow wire most of the time.
