dear boat guru's i bought a sea ray, so? you all say, it has a 260hp chev, it also has an omc electric out drive, so? you say again? well i do not know what year it is,(titles in canada seem to be quite lax) and i am having a problem with it burning the rubber hoses that join the manifolds to the elbows to the leg,.i have deduced/ that it needs an impeller, How? i say,.. 
Where? i say,... if i chose to remove this outdrive, <br />is it, extremely/very/not so/ difficult to replace it with a mercruiser outdrive, i have a very nice late model fuel injected lt4 that i would like to install, but before i even consider that i would like to at least run the boat in the water for more than 1/2 hr!!!! Thanks to all, and please, i'm sorry if this has been asked before, but i read the list of topics and did not see omc impeller specifically.
