I need to do this myself as all local shops are 4 weeks behind. I put my boat in May 1st. It is a vinyl on the outside and what looks to be a fabric on the inside. No where can I see a marking as to the exact material. It appears to look like a pair of jeans on the backside but white of course.

Do I glue, sew, or glue & sew a patch on? I have 3 holes ranging from 3" to 1" diameter. They are mouse holes.

if it were me i would probably just find something like an intertube repair kit... match the vinyl pieces out of the kit colorwise and glue em up... if the color matches i doubt anyone would notice the repairs if their only 1 - 3 inches as you stated... good luck!!

Does that apply for a sunbrella type fabric?

I would glue and sew, for strength and leak-resistance.

And go to the animal shelter and adopt a cat or two!;)

hmmm... not sure with the sunbrella fabric... although it would probably work...color matching may be an issue... but they make those patch kits in a couple of colors... i would go to wal mart and look around and they may have what you need...and pool stores also have this kinda stuff for patching holes in pool linings and may have a wider range of colors....
