Party Lakes in Iowa

I was looking at Rathbun and Coralville. I don't know which one would be better choice as I've never been to either.

Are there any other lakes in south center/south eastern iowa that are a good place to go?

I recently moved to the Quad Cities on the Illinois/Iowa border and have heard that Coralville is a big time party lake if that is what you are in to

Go to Rathbun, It is a much larger lake and will have a lot more people there.

Those are the two lakes that I've found and don't know which to choose. I've heard coralville is a good party scene, but I know Rathbun is much bigger...hard to choose when you've never been to either.
