Ahoy, Just got my first inboard boat, 94 Bayliner Capri 1850. Solid boat, needed a little mechanical touch up. I got it running good however the previous owner had the nutral safety bypassed and installed a hot switch to the starter. I'm not a big fan of this so I'd like to fix it properly. I have a Commander 3000 by Quicksilver and I cannot find even a pt# for that switch. Dose anyone have a clue where I could locate one. Or maybe know of another switch that can work in it's place????? Also I'm talking about the safety switch in the control not the nutral cutout on the shift cable assy. Thank you.

Thanks so much guys, I got one. I guess cause I was searching nutral safety, not nutral start and all I kept coming up with was the trim button. What can I say I'm a car guy entering a boaters world.

Bt Doctur: Yes I tested it. No continuity across the leads with the button depressed.

neutral safety switch does the same function in both a car and a boat.
