parts...........merc 305 '99-'00

I bought an engine on ebay and there were a few parts missing. Namely, the flywheel, starter, bellhousing, connector bering plate thingy for outdrive, front pulleys for serpant belt, alt and pulley, and water pump and pulley and anything else that I am missing for the front of the engine. I don't think there is much else though.<br /><br />Anyone know where to find these parts used or new?<br /><br />Any thoughts greatly appreciated....<br /><br />mike

Engine make and model? What style boat is this engine going into? Need a little more info....

oops! It is a 305 99 or 2000 mercruiser and I am building a 24' center console open fishing boat. I will have closed system. So ideas on how to install something like that and where to get a gas tank made for me would be great help too! Thanks...

If your'e gonna run a sealed system then automotive parts will work fine. For some higher performance parts in lieu of factory stuff I suggest, www.summitracing.com
