parts list for briggs outboard

I have a new briggs outboard and the tiller handle was broken in shipping. anyone know where i can get a parts list to get the number to order it from the manufacturer. Thanks for the help<br /><br />Jim

I would certainly think they can supply the part by the model number of the motor.Also they only build one basic model in two versions camo. or black.

Jim, was this a new motor? I think that should be covered under the warantee. Look in the phone book under Briggs and Stratton. Most of these dealers will be able to order your part for you, and they should install it for free. The Briggs and Stratton website also has a parts list for this motor. The last time I looked you had to plug in your motor's model and serial numbers to pull up the list. Good luck.

Get on the B&S site and locate the nearest master shop that works on them. They might even have one on hand.
