Parts help 1979 80 HP 4 cyl.

I just revived a sitting 79 80 HP 4 Cyl. I want to replace some parts but I am confused with some of the Mercury stuff as I usually deal with Johnson/Evinrude. Could someone post a link here on I boats for the proper parts for these items for this motor.

I believe the correct spark plug is NGK BUHW-2????

I also need a water pump kit with the housing.

I also need a fuel pump rebuild kit.

The serial # for this motor is 5564047.

Looking here on Iboats there are several pump kits and I am confused with what one I need.

Check this link at DougRussell; your serial number falls within the first grouping there.

I've found those parts listings to be pretty accurate; plus they show pictures.

Yes, looking in my engine manual, proper plugs for a '79 are:

Champion - L78V

or

NGK - BUHW-2
