Looking for sending unit on trim system for 120 Johnson V4 looper. Also need a voltmeter to match existing- I'm not sure who the manufacuturer is (OMC?). Local dealer wants $100 for voltmeter and $78 for sending unit?

Boat is 180 Edgewater.

Also the boat has significant bow rise on acceleration and planes out around 3400 RPMs-is this normal. I don't have room for trim tabs and I am wondering whether doelfins(?) on the cavitation plate will make a difference. I think the hull design is similar to the boston whaler and I noticed that some whalers I see on the water have significant bow rise at low speeds as well.

Currently using 14x17 prop- boat going 6000 RPMS at WOT-want to change prop to 14x19 to get to 5600 RPMs-is this advisable? Boat has plenty of speed -just don't like bow rise.

Thanks

You might try Jack at Superior Marine at 800-338-9281 for the parts you need.

The Dole Fin will certianly help but I would opt for the King Fin. It has more surface and on the larger engines does very well. Your RPM's are right where they need to be now. You can go to a 19" prop and then raise the motor to get the RPM's back while increasing your holeshot and top end. Once you have the King Fin you will be amazed how high you can raise the motor and how well the boat will run.

Good luck!
