parts for inboard outdrive

I am a mother trying to find a part for my son to <br />fix his boat. He needs and adapter plate to go on his outdrive that will bolt up to a chevy engine.<br />He has a 18 1/2 FoxCraft boat{89} with a mercrusier and wants to put a v-8 Chevy in it. If anyone knows or has a part that will work pleas let us know.

What size and type engine does he have now?? If he is going from lets say a 4 cylinder to a V8. Its going to cost more than that puppy is worth. You need manafolds and risers, brackets and a bunch of other stuff to go from a smaller engine to a V8.

The Best Way to do what your boy is trying to do is,... Buy a Donor Boat, to Strip for Parts....( Or buy a donor boat,+ run it... Junk the one he's Got)
