Part Identification

I have a fuel leak in my 2015 Key Largo 160CC.
I am posting two pics, one is the top of the fuel tank the other shows how much fuel came out of the bilge drain after a 20 mile ride.
The Suzuki 60 HP outboard runs perfectly.
Strong fuel smell from bilge
Fuel input hose runs under deck so I can't see 90% of it. I can't see any leaks during fueling.
Replaced P trap and anti-siphon valve/pickup but have not taken boat out since the replacement.
Fuel Sender is not 'typical' with 5 screws and I hate to remove it if its not necessary. I see no leaks from the sender.
Tank is metal. Used in fresh water for 5 years, salt for 2 years.
I have no idea after looking at 100 youtube video's what the part I point to in the photo is or what it does. I does not appear to leak. Any help identifying it would be appreciated.
Fellow at West Marine thinks its the fuel input hose but the boat is only 7 years old.
Thoughs/opinions appreciated.

From what I can see, it appears you have somevserious corrosion issues on that tank. I would drain and remove it, if it were my boat...does not appear to be safe, fuel leaks and fires do not go well in boats !!!!

Probably the vent for the fuel tank. My old boat had a separate vent line going to side of hull by conssole.

Vent valve?? Haven't owned a newer boat with a built in tank but I think they have changed to a system that is supposed to be more environmentally friendly.

For a seven-year-old boat, that looks horrible. Time to clean it up, check it completely and service whatever needs replacement. That much fuel leaking is a timebomb waiting to go. Do not use it till it's fixed.

That amount of fuel will make a very large explosion under the right conditions. The boat and any passengers would be reduced to matchsticks.

That fuel tank should be either aluminum or more likely plastic, based on the age of the boat. Neither would corrode that much. Any chance it is not original? Some boats that size had an above deck red 12 gal tank.

It must be replaced.
