Part I.D. Please

i found this rubber piece in the splash well of my boat but have no idea where it came from. I don’t know if came off my Honda 130 or maybe a cap to something else possibly where the wires to the motor are which is close to where I found it.
Need some help here please.

What year and type boat and engine do you have? Does the engine have a serial/model number to it?

The inside of the rubber sort of looks greasy, does it feel greasy, etc.?

It’s a 2003 Mako 192

it does not feel or look greasy.

In looking around your engine parts guide; nothing is really standing out of where this rubber part might go as typically had it been a main part of the engine it ought to be listed and Honda seems to have a decent parts image finder.

Maybe I missed something that you might be able to find so one of the first two parts links below would
be your engine parts guide for you if you haven't located it online yet.

I'm not so much a Honda guy; Though the larger Tohatsus have Honda powerheads, no 130s in the Tohatsu lineup. Sorry, not a clue where that plug came from.

I thought it was a Damper Hook but someone told me that part is hard plastic instead of soft rubber like this. Back to square one. I guess I am going to a Honda shop to see if they know
