paint

I just bought a boat a couple of months ago and at close to finishing it. I am thinking about repainting the hull, but I can't afford the expensive marine paint(I'm a broke college student). Does anyone know how paint that is used to paint pools will hold up under the use. I have a 15ft trihull with 25hp envinrude. Talked to the guy at the paint store and he said the stuff is pretty tough. Any suggests will be greatly appreciated.

Geofisherman<br />I do not know about useing pool paint. I would worry that it is made to be non slip and creat a lot of drag. Unless you leave boat in the water do not need the supper special bottom paints.
