Paint Code

Was going to post in the Restoration area, but seeing as how this is Johnny/Rude specific, posted here. Mods move me if Im wrong.

Restoring a QD16. Already have my Seahorse Green and decals from Peters paints, but he does not carry the off white for the cowl. Anyone know a paint code from NAPA for this? Have it all soda blasted and ready to go, but dont want to prime it until I have all my paint ready to go.

I got a reply on aomci stating Ford Consul White from Duplicolor is a good match. Just posting for future searches. I will check into it and post my results.

Try Napa auto parts in Stoney Creek. The one here will scan a sample and make rattle cans for you. I paid about $15 per can.

I have a 5.5 here 1960. Probably the same color. The white for 72-80 is pretty close. BRP part#777178. About $9.

I also just found out that Peter does carry the off white, misunderstood him. But these are definately cheaper alternatives.
