I am new to the area here, and even newer as a boat owner and fisherman. Reading the Oregon fishing regulations I saw Striped Bass listed, with a minimum size of 36". Now that's sounds intriguing.<br /><br />Again how/when/where? My boat is only 18.5 ft so I don't see going 10 miles offshore. I know folks do surfcast here with 10-12ft rods.<br /><br />What do I need to do to target these bass?<br /><br />(PS- I am from Alaska, so I have fished freshwater and salt. Just not lately or locally)
