P/S_ Alt Install

Been almost 1 yr since I took the P/S and Alt off the front of the engine.
Having a tough time w/ the brackets etc..........
I have a manual but don't see any detailed diagrams.
Can anyone point me to something???

I believe one of the brackets is 15083t............Bravo?
I'm stumped.

Can you explain a bit better with what engine model, engine year, stern drive model, Vortec Heads?, serial number/s? etc. you're dealing with. I think I'm a little confused by your sig line details to try and help somehow....Thanks.

The best i think i can say at this point is to try preforming an online image search of your engine details to see if maybe someone has already posted a frontal photo of your engine design.:noidea:

Times like these is where it's a good idea to try and remember to take photos of what is coming apart before hand...Do you happen to have any old photos of the engine in your computer, phone archives by chance?

Hi FT...........
I do have pics but they're not detailed enough in that area.
The boat is an '84.
Engine was replaced before I purchased it w/ a 350Mag, S/N 0DXXXXX.
It's a 350 Mag with the belt driven raw water pump on the starboard side (Bravo style?)
I did a search on the P/S pump bracket and it looks like the 15083t (Bravo) style bracket.
I am thinking when the engine was replaced the Bravo style raw water pump was installed and maybe they installed a Bravo style bracket for the P/S and Alt.
It has VEE belts.
I installed Vortec heads ~ 10yrs ago.
Just recently rebuilt the engine over the winter.
Obviously have had the engine apart more than once.........Haven't changed anything in this area.
Just can't seem to remember or figure out how the P/S pump/Alt get installed.
Any help here is greatly appreciated

I found the problem!!!
The P/S bracket needed to be installed under the bracket for the HE..........I couldn't see it because I had already installed the HE before I put the engine in the boat!!!
Now I'm in the process of re-installing everything properly!!!!

And it's HOT AS HE!! OUT!!!

All belts installed/adjusted and hose tightened.
All I need to do is add antifreeze and water and start 'er up!!
Oh yeah..........and install the carb!! :facepalm:
