Last week changed WS filter & engine primary filter
During week started daily letting it idle 5 minute each day,- water pumping thru strong.
other day while Idling heard that starving for fuel sound , Engine DIED ?? HUH - why ?
Removed WS filter checking gaskets along with primary , seemed OK , added fresh fuel both
Opened gas gap too allow ventalation , ( just too make sure )

1/4 tank fuel
fuel in WS clear bottom
fuel in primary clear canister
Pumping ball I hear fuel , but dont know how much is pumping
Turning key ( one turn ) I feel fuel pumps within VST working
Hit shradder valve , dry
opened VST drain dry
3 low pressure pumps ,
How does this process work , low pressure pumps into VST tank ,
what would cause low pressure pumps too fail ?? fuse ?? on this model OX66 there is no fuse panel , only on inline in fuse box with some sort of breaker that has 3 connectors with 4 leads out of each connector
High pressure pumps from Vst tank into rail .
If there was a weak low pressure , all 3 ? whats the process too prime it , maybe I got too much air into lines changing filters ?? , VST should not be dry ( generally how much fuel is stored in VST tank ) ?
If it was electrical I would not feel pumps working but for what ever reasoning no fuel coming into VST too start engine
HELP and thanks

( OB new too me )

Last week changed WS filter along with engine primary filter
WS is the Recon with clear plastic bottom with release valve not - ( Yamaha )
Boat with engine is new too me , while working on boat daily I started engine letting it idle 5 minutes , ( water pumping out strong )
Other day while idling heard that sound of engine starving for fuel sound ? DIED
Re - checked WS filter gaskets , Good - primed fresh fuel
Re - checked engine primary canister gasket & filter ,- Good - primed fresh fuel

Pumping ball hearing liquid movement ( opened gas tank cap for venting ) just incase

Turning ignition key ( 1 turn ) I put my hands on VST tank and feel pumps working

Open drain on VST - Dry - ( how much fuel should be in VST tank )

Pumping quite sometime opened VST drain , curious how much fuel entered , , only a few drops of fuel came out of VST drain ?

Everything was working until I changed gas filters ????????
too much air in lines ?? -New Engine filter was same ,
3 low pressure pumps ( what should I check too find out why they are not pumping fuel into high pressure pumps within VST tank ? Is there a inline fuse for LP pumps ,
On this model OX 66 no fuse panel , Box says fuses , but no panel , some sort of breaker box with multiple lines clipped in , Under box is a inline fuse , GOOD

Maybe clogged fuel line , Collapsed ? Pressure coming out someplace ? Will run external fuel tank , -

SUM IT UP , no fuel in VST tank

Appreciate your help

Don't know much of anything about your motor but do know about VST's. The VST must be filled with fuel enough so the float shuts incoming fuel off, same as Carb. Getting no fuel to VST means low pressure side is not working, clogged, pump not working, other

FOLLOW UP - New thread with same topic was in error , My issue corrected , Ran external tank , By passed WF canister, Fuel line with ball directly into external tank , 1/2 dz pumps saw fuel entering engine filter , eventually Vst became full and stopped fuel from pumping , Turned key , few cranks and it fired up , Water filter seperator gasket was new that came with canister but it stretched , I had extra bit thicker and it did the trick ,
