GW Boat & motor is new too me , going from IOs
Motor is 2002 Yamaha OX 66 - 2 stroke - 250 hp , fuel injected

After use when I trim motor up for transit a once of oil slivers out , leaving a small puddle just under engine on deck , One / two wipes its gone
No indication where oil can be coming from ,
oil reservoir container filled up too line , thought maybe a little is coming thru rubber cap but its dry , feeling around container hoses and general area no oil spray indicating were issue is coming from
Starboard side around the area cables come into boat , had bit of oil
Realize its traveling , '
I don't know enough about this engine after few months of owing , and the few times I used it ,
spray brake cleaner base too keep clean
As I said not a lot of oil, just enough too bug me
Normal for a 2 stroke ?
thoughts were I could be looking at ?

thanks

Oil laying about and 2 strokes go hand and hand. The nature of the beast ;)

How old are the fuel and oil line?

The oil line will start to permeate over time.
Same thing for oil tanks. All bets are off after 10 years of service
