Over tightened my water pump body

I realized that I set the torque on my water pump body in foot pounds rather than inch pounds. (That explains why I’d seemed like I was going too hard for the part) I didn’t achieve the full torque in ft lb but certainly way over did it.
It is a new body, impeller and gaskets. Should I separate the drive, loosen it and re-torque or is it ok?

Sorry for the lack of detail. It’s an alpha one gen one. I had the cases split as part of recommissioning (mainly to do the pump).
I replaced the gaskets (all of them including the metal one for lack of a better term) the impeller and the body (including the metal cup the impeller goes into which was already pressed into the plastic body). Also, the two O rings that’s seal the drive shaft.

Alpha One, overtightened impeller housing screws? Buy a new housing and toss the old one out. It's distorted...

As Chris stated, replace the housing. I don't use a torque wrench on those, just use wrist pounds.

Is there a way to reliably check the current one to know if it’s been distorted? I’m guessing not really due to its shape.
