I have twin VP 5.0s in the boat, 2001 original got the gen this April with about 87 hours on them (ECM logged) I had some starter bendix issues and a oil sending problem on the starboard which from all the testing for the hours off wack, being that I'm very OCD. I have started to log and date the hours after every trip (much like an air craft) well I thought I would even up the hours Saturday while waiting on some friends so I shut starboard down and trolled around on the port for a good 30-45 mins.
When we started the trip

So I always thought the ECM Could not tell a lie, like George himself.
Anyone have any feedback on this? Very odd, I dwas knownit does not record under 500rpm, but that still doesn't make sense as you can see I ran the other engine (in combination with the starboard) for a total of 1.2 hours, yet my numbers are even farther apart than before
