I just bought a 18' Maeko center console with a 135 yamaha on it. The first day that I took it out, it ran great until I was coming back in. My girlfriend was driving the boat at a little more than idle speed and we hit bottom, but nothing serious. I trimed up and it was fine. About 10 minutes later my alarm went off signaling that my motor was over heated. I got a tow back to the marina because it wouldn't crank back up. What could be wrong?
